A nail-biter as expected that came down to the last possesion. Joe-Steelers started off to a 7-0 lead, with a 45 yard run by Warren Williams.  Sean-Chargers then stormed back with Marion Butts leading the charge. The drive tied it up at 7-7 with a 25 yard run by Butts.  After a Marion Butts fumble inside the 5 yard line, Meril Hoge was tackled for a critical safety, giving Sean the lead.   Joe answered after a Chargers punt with a crucial Bubby Brister 4th and 2 touchdown strike to Derek Hill for 15 yards.   Third quarter with a 14-9 lead, Leslie O'Neal made a crucial interception at the 50 yard line, which eventually set up a John Carney Field Goal cutting Joe's lead to 2.   The turning point of the game came with a 2:32 left to play when Joe made a gutsy yet admirable call to go for a 4th and 2 on his own side of the field.   Bubby Brister's crucial incompletion on a blitz, led to Marion Butts going in for the game winning 1 yard TD 5 plays later.   Rick Strom threw a desperation interception to Martin Bayless as time expired. Joe-Steelers finished 7-10, while Sean-Chargers (13-4)goes on to a rematch of Season One's second round matchup vs Mij and his Vikings.
